some of the latest news in the jones home includes finally getting some minor furnishings/decor done!! hooray!
nothing too special. but a few weekends ago there was a model home furniture sale in the neighborhood across the street from us. luckily i have the best sister-in-law who got us into the models on employee night so we could swipe everything we wanted before it was open to the public!! eeee! all i wanted was a chair...and a few other things...

been wanting a chair for this spot for a good while...and finally got it, woo!!

ummm...can we say favorite?!?! we are smitten with these old school cams, so awesome!
snagged this little beauty and let it spend its time as a musical table for about a week or so before it drove us crazy and got a good coat of black paint...but we might paint it gray now...
either way, i love it!
i'm a pretty darn good spray painter...a little messy.
cody took over for me after my finger got the wrath of the spray paint can.
love, sweat, and blisters went into that little side table.
just a few steps closer to finishing our home design...
okay, still really far away but still happy with it so far!
now if i could just find the right curtains to replace the sheet that has been hanging over our back door for the past 2 years we'll be in good shape...
