my dream finally came true when cody and i got to go to DISNEYLAND for 3 days!!
we studied hard {i finished a 20 page paper and cody got his real estate license} beforehand so we could totally and completely enjoy our magical vacation.
one bag for clothes + one bag for shoes,
check!
schnacks for the road and the park,
check!
tickets,
check!
cutsie picture by the roadside dinos,
check!
snow on the so cal mtns,
what?!

space mountain was our first ride of the day...like every day.
autopia! so nostalgic. we hadn't been on those little cars since we were kids.
my handsome driver.

alice in wonderland was alwaaaaays one of my fave rides when i was little
{but then again, what ride wasn't my favorite?!}
this was only our 4th ride for the morning and cody was already sick of me snapping pics...hence the crybaby face. hilarious.
alice was so charming!
until i saw her dressed as tinkerbell the next day. magic killed.
cody is my toady. we love love love mr. toads wild ride!

oh how i wish i could live in fantasyland!
toon town is cool too.
we have got to get our names on the waiting list for club 33,
here's hoping some of the elderly members open up some spots...if you know what i mean.
{rumor has it someone has to die before another person can get on the official member list...}
once we headed over to california adventure it was time for a nice rest.
totally blew myself away that i had a churro budget going into disneyland but we were completely won over by the double scoop of cookies n cream ice cream instead!

the new toy story 3 ride "game" is so stinkin' cute and fun!
if it hadnt been a 30-45 minute wait all the time we would have done it more.
{yes i know, 30 mins is not even that bad of a wait, but when everything else was like a 5-15 min wait, it probably saved us a few lightyears. right?! right.}

i pretty much love to hate the tower of terror. anxiety attaaack! i hate all the scare tactics that go along with it, i can't even look at the ghostly figures they show you on the way up. my heart was out of my chest on the first ride, then it was fun. so as soon as we got off i told cody we were going right back on so i could conquer my silly fear.
thankfully though, i wasn't the only one that was scared...the second time we went a dad had practically DRAGGED his son up to the elevator doors and had to PUSH his son into the elevator to get him buckled in. his son was crying the entire time before the ride even started while the ride worker was asking the dad if the boy was okay, the dad just smiled and nodded. after the ride, the boy was still teary eyed but the whole elevator of people clapped and cheered for him. awesome. congratulations child, you are now scarred for life.

cody had never been to california adventure before...meaning he had never been on the screamin' coaster. i love me a first timer!! i think this was our most ridden ride...that and pirates of the caribbean, ok and the haunted house.

must frame these photos asap.
so exciting to finally have some nice pics in front of the most magical place without a slew of people behind us.
dead center of disneyland, found under the castle.
it's the little things, people.

cody's first time to tom sawyer island.
again with the ice cream cone...we were hooked!
my absolute favorite!!
i LOVE when the lights come on through main street...to die for! if i could just sit on main street i would be so happy i wouldnt even need the rides.

the world of color show.
totally worth the crowded wait.

here's a story, it goes a little something like this: we were in line for the storybook land boat when we noticed a poof {pouf} like we have never before seen.
much to our surprise, the pouf had replenished the earth with more poofs.
like mother like daughters, all in a row. amazing.
now if you'll excuse me, i need to go find my comb.
tarzan's treehouse.
it was the treehouse where i decided to bounce up and down and jump around across the rope bridge when a little boy behind me exclaimed, "STOP jumping!" sorry little fella...
my sharp shooter showing off his skillZ in frontierland.
and of course, it just wouldn't be right if cody didn't force me into a photo with aladdin and jasmine...which means i made him be in the photo also. too bad right after this photo they told other people that they couldnt stay because they had to go check on abu. presh.
last week, dreams came true, fun was had, and memories were made.
we learned that from now on we will ONLY attend our my favorite place on week days (excluding friday) because we basically never had to wait and just walked right on to all the rides.
also, we were able to indulge in those 5 dollar ice cream cones because i brought all our snacks and food from home so we had pb&j + turkey sandwiches and granola for lunch, rather than a 7 dollar corn dog.
having 3 days was great because we got to do everything we wanted multiple times, and there was still time for the little things like president lincoln, the monorail, the train, the jungle cruise, the mark twain and the tiki room.
and we figure since it was a mile walk from our hotel to disneyland we got plenty of exercise to work off the extra cookies n cream + churro-y goodness.
long live disneyland!!
You guys are the cutest couple ever!!! I love all the pictures, it looked like the perfect vacation! JEALOUSSSSSSS!!!
