this morning as i was reading in alma, i discovered a solution to a problem.

in alma chapter 28:

 PROBLEM -- verse 13 reads:

And thus we see how great the inequality 

of man is because of sin and transgression, 

and the power of the devil, which comes 

by the cunning plans which  he hath 

devised to ensnare the hearts of men.

SOLUTION -- verse 14 reads:

And thus we see the great call of diligence 

of men to labor in the vineyards of the Lord; 

and thus we see the great reason of sorrow, 

and also of rejoicing -- sorrow because of 

death and destruction among men, and

joy because of the light of Christ unto life.

we will mess up.

we will fail.

the adversary will always tempt us.

but if we set our hearts upon exquisite and wonderful things, then we can always follow them.

it is up to us to choose how we will act and what we will do.

i choose to follow my heart.

i choose joy.

i choose light.

i choose Christ.
