cabin trip

a few weeks ago we were so lucky to be invited by the breinholt/bentley clan to stay a weekend

at their family cabin and escape the good ol' valley heat.

the only thing i didn't know is that you have to pay the price and have a round on the zipline...

did i mention i am terrified of heights??!

let's just say it took me probably a good 10 minutes to finally make the jump.

Blair is such a show off haha...

glad that is out of my system.

i think the boys had too much fun riding around town in the razr.

and who could pass up some go carting along the way.

don't worry, it's not as embarrassing as you think when someone bumps you so hard that you spin completely around and 20 other oncoming go-carts have to swerve to avoid you.

we just had to stop on the side of the road and cuddle up to some of the cutest puppies!

Cody and i like to tease that our kids will hate us because we will NEVER have a dog...let a lone a pet of any sort.

we ate at some mexican place for dinner and the whole restaurant was on a slant and for whatever reason the bench we sat on was all crookedy and made us all different heights. weird.

oh just Blair, wrestling a bear.

Cody loved getting to bring his bb gun and shoot the birds and squirrels.

(i don't condone shooting squirrels, they are too cute!)

so glad we got in some good, quality horseshoes time too.

i'm pretty sure Katie's cute prego belly gives her the leverage and balance needed to be exceptionally good and throwing horseshoes.

apparently, i do not have such good horseshoes form.

and apparently this gives good material for the boys to make fun of me.
