cruise ship here we come!!

disclaimer: i realize i look incredibly attractive in this photo. let me just say...it was an awfully long day of traveling that included us waking up at like 3 am, flying from phx to houston and then to ft. lauderdale and trying to decipher a bunch of cuban accents.

our first stop was princess cays, bahamas.

second stop:

on a bus in ocho rios, jamaica.

headed to dunn's river falls.

cody decided to climb the water fall...

this meant 'investing' in a $17 pair of aqua socks.

jamaica, no problem mon? you owe us 17 bucks!

the waterfall that cody climbed...this is really only a portion of it.

i don't remember how long he climbed but they started at the very bottom by the beach and climbed up for a while.

and also, what's a vacation without some excited asians?

we found a slug that was pretty much the size of my foot.

after bobsledding, we decided to go for a swim.

they had a pool underneath an upstairs restaurant with a waterslide, woo!

it started raining like crazy and was so much fun!

this was our third port in the cayman islands.

it helps that he speaks spanish and we meet so many nice people.

this was our last stop of the cruise.

this is the day we took the fury catamaran out to their private beach...it was EMPTY and AMAZING!!!

we had the beach and the water playground practically all to ourselves.

our last night on the ship, ready to enjoy the show.

this was my favorite show, i don't remember the name of the performer,

but apparently he was a guitarist with the beach boys back in the day.

he played his guitar and did some stand up comedy, he was a riot!

on our way home, our layover in north carolina.

i went to the bathroom after our flight and there was some lady working in the bathroom and she would sing...while you were peeing!! it went a little something like this...

"gotta go gotta go gotta go right now, gotta go gotta go gotta go!" and "i got sunshiiiiine, on a cloudyyy daaaaaayyy!"

i don't know who that lady was, but i'll admit it was eerily comforting to have someone singing to you in the bathroom. weird.

then i came out and had my very own paparazzo named Cody snapping pics. weird.
