last week we journeyed over to joes farm grill for a delightful lunch.
afterwards, cody's little sister annie and i decided it was necessary to skippity hop on over to the coffee house for a(n) (supposedly award winning) cupcake.
behold, the birthday cake and red velvet cupcakes.
the first contender is the birthday cake cupcake.
it won me over with its confetti batter, rainbow sprinkles and touch of glam with that edible glitter.
next up is the classic red velvet cupcake.
what's not to love about a gorgeous red, cream cheese topped sparkled cupcake?
both were delicious, however, i must say that the birthday cake cupcake takes the cake!
{too much cake?!}
both were yummy and while i could taste the homemade goodness of both, the birthday cake had just the right amount of sweetness without tasting too much like a bakery.
and yes, i realize that may only make sense to me but whatevs.
if you havent had one, go get one. and then realize how good it is but how you probably wont have to get one ever again because they are not that amazing and you can save yourself the 3 dollars on round two.
the end.
Freakin 3 bones for a cupcake? Did you know you can make a whole cake for that? That's lame. Cupcakes are a fad. And I'd be lying if I said I didn't still want one.
