he uses those power tools.
it's not very often that we have that much work to do around the house but when the time comes he is right there with his tools in hand to get the job done. Maybe you judge me for making him a nice honey-do list but it doesn't matter when we are both happy to see check marks next to the items on the list afterwards.

he always has a cordial attitude about trying my new recipes.
since i'm past the 'burning dinner black' stage of our marriage, i've grown my mini-wings to venture into the land of trying new recipes and throwing together a meal with whatever is on hand...which is usually something random like potatoes and red peppers. but, no matter what it is cody is always willing to try whatever is on his plate and gives me honest feedback on whether or not he wants to see it again.
usually its pretty good; disregard the one time i tried something in our crock pot. note to self: okra was a bad idea.
