we finally got a washing machine!
ok, well we had one (the set that came with the house) and it worked alright up until a few like 8 months ago.
then it broooooke. i can't even really attest to this because cody was the one doing laundry when it 'broke' (hmmm??) but supposedly the water wasnt draining right and it did sound pretty crazy when the wash was going.
thus, we did what we always do when we dont have something...
we went to cody's parents house!!
it started out as, "hey mom and dad, our washer broke so can we just use yours until we go look for a new one this weekend?"...
...(insert the part about where we did our laundry at their house for months and months, used their detergent and dryer sheets, and totally ruined the reverence of sunday dinners with a noisy wash going. jk...sunday dinners are never reverent!)

isn't it cute how interested cody was to see how the washer did its job?
good thing his iPhone has a flashlight. i love my gadget guy.
don't worry, we kept it real buy getting this beauty for 200 bucks and keeping our old school dryer, its all eclectic and vintagey...right?!
and thanks dad jones for helping us cody get the washer in and set up.
now if you'll excuse me, i need to start a load of wash go watch all the pretty lights on our new(ish) machine.
